As part of our 200 Years of Catholic Education in Australia celebrations we will be sharing some special moments from our 38 Catholic Education Tasmania schools throughout the year.
There was a sea of colour at Holy Rosary Catholic School last week as the School community celebrated their 60th anniversary!
Current and former students, staff and Principals attended a range of events over the week. These included the opportunity for classes to view a display featuring the history of the School, a liturgy, and cutting (and consuming!) of the celebratory cake.
The events culminated in a 1960s dress up day for students and families complete with activities, entertainment, and a sausage sizzle!
In keeping with their commitment to social justice and caring for others in the community, a fundraiser was also held with all funds raised supporting the work of St Vincent de Paul.
Congratulations on 60 wonderful years!
