Catholic Education Week
Catholic Education Week is about strengthening relationships between all those that have a stake in our schools and colleges – students, teachers, parents, priests, parishioners, and members of the wider community.
In 2019 Catholic Education Week will be held from Sunday 17 March to Saturday 23 March.
Our theme this year is 'The harvest is rich but the labourers are few, so ask the Lord of the harvest to send labourers to His harvest' (Matthew 9:35-38).
Catholic Education Week provides a wonderful occasion for students, teachers, families, friends and parishes to acknowledge the strengths and achievements of Catholic schools and colleges, and those who contribute to their ongoing success. In particular, the members of the Catholic Education Tasmania community who receive 25 Years of Service Awards and/or Recognition Awards in honour of their significant contribution to Catholic education.
Our schools celebrate Catholic Education Week through a variety of activities including liturgies, open days, and coming together to celebrate in regional Masses.
